Emmanuel's Visit Day 4

8:30 AM: Today was a day of rest for the Three Musketeers. I decided to call my mom when I woke up that morning because she was really bummed she wouldn't get to meet Emmanuel because she was in Paris on a business trip. I opened up Skype on my computer and gave her a call, hoping I had caught her before dinner. She picked up, and looked very excited to see me. I introduced her to Emmanuel, and those two got along very well. They chatted for about fifteen minutes until I finally heard Emmanuel say "Goodbye, Ms. Dochterman" I asked Emmanuel what he wanted to do that day, and he he wanted to check out State Street  and see all of the shops. It took him a while to get ready because he was not firing on all cylinders that day, but we finally got in the car and drove to State Street.

12:30 PM: After a few shops, Emmanuel started to fade, so we stopped for some lunch at  The Palace Grill. After lunch, we hit a few more shops and then decided it was time to head home. Emmanuel immediately crashed when we got home, so my dad and I ran some errands and then just went on with our daily lives until dinner.

7:30 PM: Emanuel finally got up at about 5:30, and after he made himself look presentable he joined us in choosing where we were going to go for dinner. I suggested we go to Palazzios, and agreed so off we went. After a nice hearty dinner of lasagna and garlic balls, we headed home to maybe watch some TV (which we hadn't done much of) and head off to bead early because tomorrow we were back on a normal schedule. We drove home, and everyone hit the sack except Emmanuel who said he couldn't quite get to sleep yet because he had taken such a long nap. He told us not to wait for him to get to sleep, so my dad and I closed our eyes and went off into dreamland.
